Support Grand Rapids Community College | Vote Yes on Tuesday, May 8, 2012!

Here is an interesting campaign I just found out about, it is a vote to raise bonds for the support and expansion of Grand Rapids Community College. You can visit the site or see the video below for more information, but I found the new increase in education proposed a good idea. Affordable college education is essential for the expanding skill sets needed in a faster paced work environment. Times, demonstrates the increasing devaluation of life that the war on terror has created in the mindset of US soldiers on tours...

The Benefits of Bilingualism – NYTimes.com

The Benefits of Bilingualism – NYTimes.com. Just an interesting article I read about the benefits of being Bilingual. It helps the brain not only adapt to change but also to resolve internal mental issues and ward of memory loss and prolongs the onset of certain mental diseases.  What was viewed as a handicap in the last century, is now considered part of the strengths in the brain’s protection.  Since fully bilingual speakers have both language centers turned on at once, the overlapping language synapse make the user more...

Santorum Withdraws From Republican Race, Romney winner of the losing party – Opinion

Santorum Withdraws From Republican Race – NYTimes.com.  I don’t think Santorum quitting the race is news, it was  only a matter of time this happened. What is surprising is that his race lasted so long. The main reason why Santorum had to drop out was simple, Money.
