SOL Tutors Needed, Hispanic Center of Western Michigan

Another event on Facebook that could be of interest for any college student with time to help out locally.

Tis’ the season for tutor recruitment for the Winter and Spring semesters! 8th – 12th grade students need tutors after-school. If you have a few hours once a week to help impact lives and increase graduation rates, please contact dduzan@hispanic-center.org to sign up. No experience needed. Training provided.

Days: Days are, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 3pm-5pm
Requirements: Must be a college student or have some college experience, volunteers need only commit to one day per week, spanish a plus but not required.

Volunteers also needed for Friday activities 3pm-5:30pm

There are many other volunteer  opportunities for a variety of interest areas.

Volunteer opportunities can also be developed into internships.
