Obama says Republicans to blame for ‘super committee’s’ failure – chicagotribune.com.  Raising taxes and cutting spending would be ideal for creating a balanced budget. Its tough, like any household that is in debt things have to be cut. You can’t just go out and borrow and think that is a good solution.

The refusal of republicans to even consider a tax raise and cut spending on the military, posses serious questions about what the isles of congress are doing to this country. They are not concerned with how to solved the problems, instead on how to maintain their parties agenda.

This is unacceptable, the “Super committee” was designed to impose serious cuts to the tune of 1.2 trillion and assign these cuts accordingly, but instead they just argued, and fought and named called.  Showing up on TV and arguing that the other side is unwilling to compromise is not what they were suppose to do. President Obama has criticized the Republicans directly stating they were directly undermining the process. Republicans do not want to increase taxes or cuts to the defense department.  It shows where their loyalties are to the American people choosing the rich and the military over the struggling middle class.  They were able to pass a 700 billion dollar bail out for Wall Street in less then 30 days in 2008 when the credit crisis occurred and not even bother to look where all the money was going but here they are penny pinching every cent.
