An Email I received from NAHP for the Latino Book Awards. Its an interesting event that highlights many Latino writers and publishers. 14th Annual International Latino Book Awards

The 14th Annual International Latino Book Awards promise to be bigger and better than ever. We have new eBook categories in Children’s, Young Adult, Non-fiction and Fiction.

If you know of a book that was published during calendar year 2010 or 2011 and would like to have it recognized, please fill out and send in this entry form or forward the form along to the author or publisher.

Our entry deadline is March 18 but you can save 20% on the entry fee by having your entries in before January 15, 2012.

Once again we are holding our awards show during the book publishing industry’s largest trade show, Book Expo America, taking place at the Javits Center from June 4-7, 2012.

If you want to attend this year’s event, please use the RSVP form on the first page of the entry form. If you are entering a book, make sure to also fill out the RSVP portion of the form. However, since we want to see more of you at the event next year, subscribers to this newsletter are also invited. Please write the word “Subscriber” on the “Category of Entered Title” line on the form and we’ll include you on the guest list.

We hope to see you in New York City next June.

The Chicago Latino Book & Family Festival returns to Unity School, our long time home, next Spring. Expect huge crowds, a great literary program, entertainment, great food and many of your favorite celebrities.
