Apple’s Steve Jobs Unveils Futuristic New Headquarters Design (Photo) – The Hollywood Reporter.

Looks like Jobs is taking architecture to a new level.  I guess companies will now be competing on who can build the most modern luxurious office. With billions of dollars save in worker salaries and cutbacks in pay to its workers to the point of creating issues with their suppliers having their employees commit suicide  because of their wages and work conditions. It’s a great thing to see what all that exploiting has earned Apple.  This will be the start of companies investing millions on buildings, not jobs.

I guess even though Apple has earned the revenue by creating a commodity in software it is not surprise that companies as large as Apple have left the original intention of Corporation. A mandate that originality created for the public good. I would like to see what Apple will do to of set this critic of its palace building efforts.

You could argue it will create jobs for the construction workers and bring up further housing prices in the surrounding area, but with a global reach and a global production, I think it can do better than that.
